Ogden’s city planners asked our LAEP 4100 class to develop a plan bring life back to the city’s center and bolster tax revenues for Ogden.

My team focused on an area around the minor league ball park where a lot of historic buildings were torn down for parking lots that are rarely full.

Our plan re-introduced residential and commercial infill, which existed historically, with higher density downtown transitioning to lower density near the Ogden River.

After presenting the plan to the city council and to the public in an open house, we received a lot of positive feedback and were asked to present the plan on multiple occasions.
